Sofwave
Instead of converging on a single point, multiple beams run in parallel. Ultrasound lifting that targets the mid-depth of the skin.
Not a Single Point, but in Parallel
Ultrasound lifting usually concentrates energy at a single point. Sofwave is known for sending seven beams in parallel at the same depth (SUPERB). The method is simply different; this is not a claim of superiority.
- Where one beam has passed
- and another alongside it
- lines continuing at regular intervals

Where It Targets
- SURFACE
Skin surface
Energy passes through the surface without any incision. The device is known to cool the contact surface during treatment to protect it, so the surface is only a pathway, not the target.
- MID-DERMIS
Mid-depth of skin
This is where Sofwave targets. It is known to be the middle zone—below the surface but above the SMAS layer.
- BELOW
Deeper layers
Deeper layers such as the SMAS are targeted by other methods like Ultherapy. It is not about superiority, but a difference in target.
Areas of Focus
We focus on the brow, under the chin, the neck, and fine lines. Areas and composition are decided during consultation based on your skin condition and goals.

FAQ
How does Sofwave work?
Rather than focusing ultrasound energy on a single point, it is known to split the energy into seven parallel beams delivered at the same depth (SUPERB, Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam). It is known to target the mid-depth of the skin without any surface incision, with a design that cools the contact surface during treatment to protect the skin surface. The degree and timing of response may vary by individual.
How is it different from Ultherapy?
They target different layers. Ultherapy is known to target deeper layers such as the SMAS, while Sofwave targets the mid-depth of the skin above it. Rather than one being better than the other, they serve different purposes, and the choice is made through a medical consultation.
Is the treatment painful?
You may feel warmth or brief moments of stimulation, and whether to use numbing cream is decided during consultation if needed. The sensation may vary depending on the area and the individual.
Is there any downtime?
Temporary redness or warmth may appear after treatment, but it generally subsides. This may vary by area, and detailed precautions will be explained before treatment.
How much does it cost?
It varies by configuration and will be explained during a private consultation. Suitability and configuration are determined individually through a medical consultation.

Before We Begin, We Check the Following
This treatment uses ultrasound energy. Please let us know about the following before treatment.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- If you have metal implants in the treatment area or use an implanted electronic medical device such as a pacemaker
- If you have an ongoing skin condition, inflammation, or infection in the treatment area
- If you have recently had another lifting treatment on the same area
For an accurate assessment, please feel free to share your current medications and health status during consultation.
